City of Bloomington, Indiana

Prepared/Processed Food and Beverage Vending
Food Truck/Push Cart Vending

The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals from interested local businesses, organizations and individuals to manage all aspects of  a Prepared/Processed Food and Beverage Vending (PFV) and/or Food Truck or Push Cart Vending (FTV) stall at the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market on Saturday mornings during the 2018 Market season. Most PFVs are located on the Farmers' Market Plaza on the B-Line Trail. Most FTVs are located on 8th Street west of the B-Line Trail.

To select the PFV/FTV who will best serve the Market, the City uses a request for proposal (RFP) process. Proposals will be evaluated by a review committee that includes Market staff and Farmers' Market Advisory Council members using the criteria established in the RFP including menu, price, product balance, customer satisfaction, use of local products and location of business, with preference given to businesses located in Bloomington.

The RFP forms and sample agreements are available via the links at the bottom of this page.

All proposals MUST be submitted on the PFV and/or FTV proposal form. For a hard copy of the sample agreement and proposal form, contact Marcia Veldman at 812.349.3738 or veldmanm@bloomington.in.gov

The RFP submission deadline is Thursday, Feb. 1, 2018 by 5 p.m. Late proposals will not be accepted.
