The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is seeking proposals from interested local businesses, organizations and individuals to manage all aspects of a Food and Beverage Artisan (FBA) Vending and/or Food Truck or Push Cart Vending (FTV) stand at the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market on Saturday mornings during the 2020 Market season.

Most FBAs are located on the Farmers’ Market Plaza on the B-Line Trail. Most FTVs are located on Eighth Street west of the B-Line Trail.

To select the FBA/FTV that will best serve the Market, the City uses a request for proposal (RFP) process. Proposals will be evaluated by a review committee that includes Market staff and Farmers’ Market Advisory Council members using the criteria established in the RFP including menu, price, product balance, customer satisfaction, use of local products, and location of business (with preference given to businesses located in Bloomington).

Sample FBA and FTV vending agreements will be available on this website Jan. 30, 2020.

All proposals must be submitted on the FBA and/or FTV online or hard copy proposal form.

The submission deadline is Monday, February 3, 2020 by 5 pm. No late proposals will be accepted.
