About Barnhouse Farms

We are a family of four growing on 6.5 acres near Cataract Falls, Indiana since 2015. Our farmstead is home to our high tunnel and a ¼+ acre outdoor market garden, where we grow nutrient dense vegetables, herbs and more for our family and our customers at market. Our specialties are gourmet salad and sauté greens as well as unusual/heirloom vegetable varieties. We also grow many varieties of microgreens, both indoors and outdoors using organic seed and soil. In addition to our vegetables, we tend a pastured/free range flock of heritage breed hens, and a holistically managed and registered Nubian goat herd, the milk from which is a primary ingredient in our all natural goatsmilk soap, goatsmilk and beeswax candles, and our laundry soap concentrate. Our small farmstead is focused on integrative farming, which allows us to combine responsible animal husbandry with organic practices and natural soil building techniques in our gardens.
