To celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., organizations are invited to create projects that are dynamic and relevant by combining meaningful service and thoughtful reflection, and that provide volunteers with opportunities for sustained service and ongoing community involvement.
$31,000 in funds provided by the Service for Peace, Serve Indiana, and the Community Foundation of Bloomington and Monroe County were regranted to local nonprofits, schools and faith communities to host service and educational projects for MLK Day 2017.
