Bloomington, IN -- The City of Bloomington Animal Shelter will be closed Thursday, March 30, 2006, for professional staff development. No animals will be received by or picked up from the shelter during that time.

The shelter will resume normal hours of operation on Friday, March 31, 2006. Citizens with emergencies related to injured or aggressive animals should call City of Bloomington Utilities at 339-1444. All other calls will be deferred until Friday.
