Bloomington, IN -- The City of Bloomington Commission on Sustainability (BCOS) will present "Sustainability 101," the first in a series of forums on sustainability issues, on Monday, April 24th.

The forum begins at 7:00 pm in the Monroe County Public Library Auditorium with a presentation by BCOS member Cairril Mills introducing the "3 Es" of sustainability: Economy, Environment and (social) Equity.

Mills will then moderate a panel discussion with the audience. The panel features local experts on sustainability issues: Christine Glaser, IUPUI Department of Economics, addressing economic vitality; Keith Clay, IU Department of Biology, addressing environmental integrity; and Charlotte Zietlow, Economic Development Coordinator for Middle Way House, Inc., addressing social equity.

The event is free and open to the public.
