Teens Volunteer Listing Now Available

Bloomington, IN -- The City of Bloomington Volunteer Network, part of the Community and Family Resources Department, announced today that the latest edition of Teens Volunteer has been released. Teens Volunteer is a comprehensive listing of volunteer opportunities for young people in the Bloomington area.

Youth interested in volunteering will find more than 70 organizations represented in the listing.

Volunteer projects range from working with animals, involvement with the arts, helping children and the elderly, and working with technology, health care or the disability services fields. Other opportunities include education, hunger relief, housing and homelessness issues, conflict resolution, multicultural services, administrative services, recreation and sports, outdoor activities and the environment, skilled trades, special events, tutoring and mentoring.

Copies of Teens Volunteer are available in all local high school libraries and at the Monroe County Public Library, 303 East Kirkwood Ave. The listing also can be accessed by visiting the City's web site [www.bloomington.in.gov/volunteer|volunteer].
