Public Invited to Assist with Downtown Parking Study

Bloomington, IN -- Walker Parking Consultants announced today that it will be holding a public meeting next week to gather information for the company's downtown parking study. The public is invited to attend to provide input and share ideas.

The meeting will be held Thursday, Jan. 25 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in City Hall Council Chambers, 401 N Morton St. Jeffrey Colvin, AICP, Parking Consultant, will moderate.

Walker Parking Consultants was contracted by the City in late fall 2006 to conduct an assessment of downtown parking in terms of enforcement, regulations, supply and demand. At the meeting, members of the public are encouraged to share their observations, concerns and solutions.

Walker expects to complete the study and present a final report to the City of Bloomington in mid-February.
