Bloomington, IN -- Five members of the [Bloomington City Council|/sections/viewSection.php?section_id=14] have teamed up to Bowl for Kids' Sake! -- Big Brothers Big Sisters of South Central Indiana's largest, annual fundraising campaign.

Andy Ruff (and his son Hank), Susan Sandberg, Chris Sturbaum, Steve Volan and Brad Wisler have named the bi-partisan team The City Council Commission on Pin Demolition -- a play on the City's Demolition Delay Ordinance.

Proceeds from the event will help [Big Brothers Big Sisters |http://www.bbbssci.org/]match children ages 6 through 17 with mentors in professionally supported, one-to-one relationships. Such mentoring is proven to improve family relationships, school performance, educational goals and self-esteem.

The Council team will bowl on Sunday, February 25, 2007, at 1:00 p.m. and reminds community that they can still register for Edward Jones Bowl For Kids Sake!, which takes place February 24, 25 and March 3, 2007, at Suburban Lanes.
