Bloomington, IN - The official groundbreaking for the B-Line Trail, a project five years in the making, is Tuesday, and City of Bloomington Mayor Mark Kruzan is taking the City's message to outside communities. All this week, he will be joining afternoon and morning radio news hosts to discuss the economic and cultural impact the B-Line Trail is projected to have on Bloomington. For Kruzan, it's an opportunity to inform other communities about the great things happening here in Bloomington and encourage visitors to experience the city first hand.
"We have so many important things taking place almost daily, and we want people around the state to be aware of them," Kruzan said. "The significance of the B-Line Trail project on our community is something we should be sharing with people in other cities. We want them to know that Bloomington is a vibrant, progressive community that welcomes visitors from anywhere."
