Bloomington Transit's Lew May Featured on Magazine Cover

Bloomington, IN - The May/June issue of Busline Magazine, a publication created to address motorcoach and transit services topics, features Bloomington Transit(BT) General Manager Lew May on the cover. The magazine chose to feature May largely because of the recent growth of BT"s ridership, which carried a record 2.7 million riders in 2007.

The magazine is one of the industry's most well-read, and it combines feature stories on executives and managers with stories on advances in the field.

May's philosophy revolves around him and his staff treating each rider as a customer, and this has drawn increasing attention from those looking to utilize convenient mass transit. "If we are not going to do everything we can to serve the customer, we are not going to be very successful," May said.
