Deadline For Citizens Academy Registration Fast Approaching

Bloomington, IN - Registrations for the 10th Annual Bloomington Citizens Academy are due no later than Monday, July 14 and are being accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis. For the past nine years, the Citizens Academy has provided the public with an inside look at City Hall, the departments that make up Bloomington government and the staff and leaders who help enhance the community's quality of life. Participants will tour departments and be able to ask questions of department heads and staff in reference to City business.

The nine-week program has become one of the City's most popular events, reaching capacity every year and graduating many of Bloomington's civic and community leaders. This year's class is limited to 30 participants, and spots are filling up quickly.
