Animal Shelter to Close for Maintenance

The City of Bloomington Animal Shelter will be closed Wednesday and Thursday, August 27 and 28, 2008, in order to perform some necessary cleaning and maintenance tasks. No animals will be received into the shelter on these days, and no adoptions will be processed. Citizens with emergencies related to injured or aggressive animals should call 349-3492 and an officer will be dispatched. All other calls will be deferred until Friday. The shelter will resume normal hours of operation on Friday, August 29, 2008.
