City of Bloomington Announces Schedule for Holiday Trash Pickup

Bloomington, IN - The City of Bloomington announced today its holiday trash pickup schedule. There will be no trash pickup on Thursday, December 25, 2008, and Thursday, January 1, 2009. Regular trash pickup will be delayed by one day following Christmas and New Years Day. The following schedule details the holiday trash pickup:

* Thursday, 12/25 trash will be picked up on Friday, 12/26
* Friday, 12/26 trash will be picked up on Saturday, 12/27
* Thursday, 1/1 trash will be picked up on Friday, 1/2
* Friday, 1/2 trash will be picked up on Saturday, 1/3

The change also applies to yard waste and recycling services.
