Bloomington, IN - Harvest Home, the weekly Farmers' Market preview heard on WFHB 91.3, is now available as a podcast.

For the past 13 years, Harvest Home has been produced by City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation employee Michael Simmons as a collaboration between the City and WFHB. The show includes a brief report on the types of produce that will be available at the Farmers' Market as well as thought-provoking anecdotes.

Now, in addition to hearing Harvest Home on WFHB on Fridays at 10 a.m. and 4:55 p.m., listeners may now enjoy the program as early as Wednesday evenings at the WFHB website, www.wfhb.org. Also, listeners may subscribe to the program at no cost by simply dragging the podcast link into iTunes.

"Our many partnerships with the City reflect WFHB's commitment to connecting the community to the many programs and services available to them," said Chad Carrothers, News Director at WFHB.

Recent and archived editions of Harvest Home are available at http://wfhb.org/news/harvesthome.

For more information on the Farmers' Market, please contact Marcia Veldman, City Market Coordinator, at 349-3738 or via email at veldmanm@bloomington.in.gov.
