City of Bloomington Sanitation makes free leaf bags available for fall
Bloomington, IN - The City of Bloomington will make free leaf bags available to the public beginning Monday, Oct. 19, as part of ongoing efforts to keep Bloomington beautiful and prevent leaves from accumulating in street sewers and drains.
The bags will be collected by City Sanitation on regular trash collection days through January 15 and will not require a sticker. All other yard waste must be stickered with standard City Sanitation Stickers.
Leaf bags can be picked up 5 at a time at the following locations:
- City of Bloomington Fire Stations
Open every day, including weekends
8 a.m.-6 p.m.
- City of Bloomington Public Works Department
Bloomington City Hall
401 N. Morton Street
Suite 130
Monday-Friday
8 a.m.-5 p.m.
- City of Bloomington Sanitation Garage
3406 S. Walnut Street
Monday-Friday
6 a.m.-2 p.m.
