Animal Shelter To Close During Holiday Weekend
The City of Bloomington Animal Shelter will be closed Friday, Saturday and Sunday, December 25-27, 2009, in observance of the Christmas holiday and in order to perform some necessary cleaning and maintenance tasks. No animals will be received into the shelter on these days. Citizens with emergencies related to injured or aggressive animals during this time should call 339-1444 and an officer will be dispatched. All other calls will be deferred until Monday, Dec. 28, 2009. when the shelter resumes regular hours of operation.
