City Launches New Website for Use with Mobile Smartphones
Bloomington, IN -- The City of Bloomington is pleased to announce the availability of a mobile web interface to supplement its award-winning website, bloomington.in.gov.
The new mobile version of the City site can be found at bloomington.in.gov/m. The site is built for mobile devices and smartphones with modern mobile web browsers such as iPhones and Android phones. Features of the mobile website include easy, quick and convenient access to:
  • City contact information, news and events
  • Reporting tools for potholes, traffic light outages and missing street signs
  • Maps and City jobs listings and more.
"Although the City's regular website is still the definitive source for information about City operations, our new web interface provides an alternative view of City information that fits in the palm of your hand," said Rick Dietz, City Director of Information and Technology Services.
The new website is part of the City's ongoing efforts to explore expanded mobile options and increase access to information. For more information about the mobile interface or other technology initiatives, contact Dietz at 349-3485 or dietzr@bloomington.in.gov.
