Bloomington, IN -- The City of Bloomington's Housing and Neighborhood Development (HAND) Department is offering its last Home Buyers Club of 2010 on Saturdays, Dec. 4 and 11 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Registration is now open for this last Home Buyers Club workshop, which offers participants a chance to learn how to become successful homeowners.

Participants receive a HAND-produced 230+ page book, Buying a Home: A Guide For First Time Home Buyers, and an opportunity to meet with a HAND housing counselor to develop a personalized home-buying action plan. Income eligible graduates can apply for $5,000 in down payment and closing cost assistance from HAND, as well as other assistance programs.
