THE NEW TERM FOR CITY BOARDS AND COMMISSIONS 2011 APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE
BLOOMINGTON-Regina Moore, Bloomington City Clerk has announced that applications are now being accepted for the new term of the following:
- Animal Control Commission
- Bicycle and Pedestrian Commission
- Bloomington Commission on Sustainably
- Bloomington Community Arts Commission
- Bloomington Digital Underground Advisory Committee
- Commission on Aging
- Commission on Hispanic and Latino Affairs
- Commission on the Status of Black Males
- Commission on the Status of Women
- Community and Family Resources Commission
- Citizen Advisory for CDBG Funding
- Environmental Commission
- Historic Preservation Commission
- Housing Quality Appeals Board Housing Trust Fund Board of Directors
- Representation from banking, low income, not for profit housing, social services
- Housing Trust Fund
- MLK Jr Birthday Commission
- Redevelopment Commission
- Traffic Commission
- Tree Commission
- Bloomington Urban Enterprise Association
- Requires residency within the zone and registered Democrat
Priority date for application consideration is December 15th.
City Boards and Commissions are citizen staffed and operated, and serve to advise the Common Council and the Administration on issues affecting Bloomington.
