City and Local Business to Announce Joint Recycling Initiative

Bloomington, IN -- Mayor Mark Kruzan, a local business owner and the Monroe County Solid Waste Management District invite community members to a press conference announcing a local recycling initiative on Wednesday, March 30 at 10:30 a.m. in City Hall Council Chambers, 401 N. Morton Street.

Kruzan will be joined by local recycling business Pedal Power owner Chad Roeder. Both will discuss the significance of the initiative and how it will address demand for recycling services in the community.

"I look forward to announcing this partnership to advance recycling," said Kruzan. "This innovative collaboration between the public and private sector will be another reason Bloomington will be recognized as a leader in recycling."
