Bloomington, IN -- The City of Bloomington Entertainment and Arts District (BEAD) will showcase the portraiture and landscape work of painter Carole Diane Heslin. The show, entitled "Faces and Places," will be featured throughout the month of June as part of its ongoing exhibition program in the Atrium of City Hall, 401 N. Morton Street.

Heslin, a Chicago native, is an award-winning artist whose artwork has been featured at Mickey Mantle's Restaurant, NYC; the National Baseball Hall of Fame, Cooperstown; Judith Ryan Williams "Nature and Wildlife" Exhibition, St. Augustine; and Art Show at the Dog Show, St. Louis. Her portrait of Paul McCartney garnered the Patron's Choice Award at PETA's gala in New York. Her work is in the private estate collections of Paul Harvey, Joe DiMaggio, Satchel Paige and Ted Williams. Her autographed portrait collection includes Presidents Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama; Tony Blair; Laura Bush; Woody Allen; Mickey Mantle; Hank Aaron, Rudolf Nureyev and the Rolling Stones.

The exhibit will be in the Atrium of City Hall June 1 through June 30. Exhibition hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, as well as additional evening and weekend hours when City Hall is open for meetings.
