Bloomington, IN - The City of Bloomington announced today its holiday trash pickup schedule. Regular trash pickup will be delayed by one day during the week of December 26 and January 2. If your regular track pickup is on Monday, pickup will occur on Tuesday these weeks, and so on. This delay applies to trash, yard waste and recycling. Appliance pick up for December will be on Friday, Dec. 30. Live trees and wreaths will be picked up between Tuesday, Dec. 27 and Friday, Jan. 6. All decorations and lights must be removed from the tree before placing it at the curb.
