City of Bloomington to Partner on Communication Tools Workshop for Bloomington Neighborhoods

Bloomington, Ind. - The City of Bloomington Housing and Neighborhood Development Department (HAND), Information and Technology Services and Council of Neighborhood Associations (CONA) will host a workshop called "Communication Tools for Neighborhoods" on Thursday, Nov. 14, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall, 401 N. Morton St. This workshop is for anyone interested in learning more about communications tools to use in their neighborhoods.

The purpose of this workshop is to determine the various technology tools available for neighborhood communication; share methods and communication tools that neighborhoods utilize; highlight various tools on the City website that are helpful to neighborhoods; and share a useful packet of resource information to utilize in communicating with your neighborhood.

Please note that this workshop is designed for all neighborhoods, no matter the size, budget or expertise with technology. The goal of this workshop is to inform neighborhoods of the options available to them and to give support in their endeavors.

For more information, please contact Program Manager Vickie Provine at provinev@bloomington.in.gov or 349.3505.
