City of Bloomington Resumes Sanitation Services Friday, Feb. 20

Bloomington, Ind. - The City of Bloomington has announced that Sanitation Department services will resume tomorrow, Feb. 20 and will pick up Thursday's sanitation routes.

The decision was made in accordance with the City's cold weather policy, which allows crews to be held at work for up to 3 hours in hopes of temperatures and wind chill getting above -10. If the temperature or wind chill is not above -10 by 7:30 a.m., sanitation crews will work on Saturday to pick up Thursday's sanitation routes.
