City Leadership Meeting Opportunities in June

Bloomington, Ind. - The residents of Bloomington will have several opportunities in June to interact with Mayor John Hamilton and City of Bloomington department leaders outside of regular business hours. Everyone is welcome to meet and discuss concerns, current projects and future plans. These events are part of Mayor Hamilton's Town Hall Meetings series.

Meet recently hired Planning Director Christy Langley on Saturday, June 18 at the Farmers' Market. Langley will be available under the awning in front of City Hall, 401 N. Morton St., from 10:00 to 11:30 AM to answer questions about the upcoming Comprehensive Master Plan process and discuss any topic related to planning.

Mayor Hamilton will be at Hopscotch Coffee, 235 W. Dodds St., on Monday, June 20 for a meeting sponsored by the Indiana Small Business Development Center. The public is welcome to attend and discuss topics related to entrepreneurship and small business development in the Bloomington. The event begins at 4:30 PM with refreshments provided.

Bloomington's new Fire Chief Jason Moore will bring in a fire truck for his June 25 Farmers' Market visit. Chief Moore will be in front of the Showers Plaza at City Hall from 10 to 11:30 AM welcoming residents, offering tours of the truck and sharing information about the Bloomington Fire Department and fire safety.

Additional meetings will be announced for July, featuring Mayor Hamilton and other City leaders.
