Deputy Mayor Inducted Into Softball Hall of Fame

Bloomington, Ind. - Deputy Mayor Mick Renneisen was inducted this month into the 2016 ASA National Softball Hall of Fame. The Hall of Fame honors those men and women who have played a major role in the growth and development of softball. Mick served as the Indiana ASA/USA Commissioner since 2011, and on the ASA/USA Board of Directors from 2005-2013. A long-time player and director of eight ASA national championships, Mick has tirelessly shared his love of the game of softball both in Bloomington and across the U.S.

Mick served as Director of the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department for 20 years.
