Celebrating Bloom Magazine's 10th Anniversary

Bloomington, Ind. - All are invited to join Mayor John Hamilton this Saturday at 11:15 a.m. at the Bloomington Community Farmers' Market as he proclaims October 1st, 2016 "Bloom Magazine Day" in celebration of ten years of successful publication of the popular local magazine. Mayor Hamilton will read a proclamation in honor and celebration of the publication and its founder, editor and publisher Malcolm Abrams.

"For the last ten years Malcolm, through Bloom Magazine, has told the story of Bloomington - who we are, what we value, our celebrations, our work, our accomplishments, our passions, our life stories. He and his staff have created a beautiful, tangible celebration of this community that we can pick up every month, at no charge. We're happy to have the opportunity to honor Malcolm and the magazine that promotes all that we love about living in Bloomington," said Mayor John Hamilton.

Immediately preceding the reading of the proclamation, Mayor Hamilton will host "Mayor at the Market" from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. in front of City Hall.
