November Mayor at the Market Times and Hosts Announced
Bloomington, Ind. - Join Deputy Mayor Mick Renneisen tomorrow in front of City Hall for the weekly "Mayor at the Market" event that gives residents and visitors the opportunity to chat in an informal setting with the mayor and department heads. Renneisen was recently a torchbearer for the Indiana Bicentennial torch relay and will be on hand to talk about that and other city issues of interest from 10 to 11 a.m.

The following week Mayor John Hamilton will host one of the last remaining Mayor at the Market events for 2016. Join him from 10 to 11 a.m. to talk about city issues, and then stick around to participate in the Hands Across the Trail event. At 11 a.m. the City and Middle Way House have partnered to host a variety of speakers and musicians to inspire a culture of consent and stand united against sexual assault. At noon, be one of the participants to join hands on the B-Line trail for two minutes to symbolize solidarity as a community and increased trail safety. For a list of speakers and more information about Hands Across the Trail, go to MiddleWayHouse.org.

Play giant jenga, weigh in on new events planned for the City and meet Beth Rosenbarger and other members of the Planning Department as they host the November 19th Mayor at the Market event from 10 a.m. to noon. Zip up that jacket and join in the fun!

More information about Bloomington Farmers' Market events can be found at bloomington.in.gov. Indoor meetings, known as town hall meetings, will resume in December.
