Director of Economic & Sustainable Development to Host Farmers’ Market Saturday
Bloomington, Ind. - The public is invited to join Economic & Sustainable Development Director Alex Crowley as he hosts “Mayor at the Market” Saturday. Crowley will be available June 17 from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. in front of City Hall, 401 N. Morton Street. Crowley, along with members of his staff, look forward to discussing topics related to sustainable economic development like the Trades District, entrepreneurship, small business opportunities and Monroe County energy initiatives. They will also be available to discuss the City of Bloomington’s new QuickStart tool for small business development as well as other ongoing projects.
The weekly "Mayor at the Market" series gives residents and visitors the opportunity to chat with the mayor or city department heads in an informal setting about any City issues of interest.
