City Announces “First Mondays” - A Monthly Business Assistance Forum

Bloomington, Ind.- The City is pleased to announce a new collaborative effort, "First Mondays," beginning this Monday, April 2 from 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. at Grazie Italiano on the square.

“First Mondays” are a free, open help session for anyone to ask questions about starting a business or running an existing business from local experts.  Each meeting will feature expert volunteers from Accounting, Banking, Business Law, HR, Marketing and Real Estate sectors, as well as City representatives.  First Mondays are intended to provide a regular opportunity for real-time, focused guidance and problem-solving information to small business owners and entrepreneurs in a casual setting. As an open public event without a speaking agenda, First Mondays will also serve to provide a networking platform for the business community.

This is the inaugural event of a monthly recurring series, held always on the first Monday of the month at 8:00 a.m. The location will vary.

“First Mondays” are a collaborative effort between the City of Bloomington, Greater Bloomington Chamber of Commerce, Bloomington Economic Development Corporation, SCORE, Small Business Development Corporation, Downtown Bloomington Inc., and the Cook Center for Entrepreneurship.
