Meet Corporation Counsel Philippa Guthrie at Farmers’ Market Saturday

Bloomington, Ind. - While visiting the Bloomington Community Farmers’ Market Saturday, May 19, residents are invited to drop by from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. to meet the City of Bloomington Legal Department's Corporation Counsel Philippa Guthrie for this week's edition of “Mayor at the Market.” Guthrie will greet visitors in front of City Hall at 401 N. Morton St. and be available to discuss the legal aspect of current issues and initiatives in the City of Bloomington.

The weekly "Mayor at the Market" series gives community members the opportunity to get acquainted with their mayor and other members of their city government and to share ideas and concerns about the city in an informal setting.

The Farmers' Market takes place at Eighth and Morton Streets in Showers Common beside City Hall every Saturday through September from 8 a.m. through 1 p.m. and from 9 a.m. through 1 p.m. in October and November.
