Bloomington, Ind. - At 2:46 a.m. officers from the Bloomington Police Department responded to the 2400 block of West 3rd Street. He was transported to IU Health Bloomington Hospital where he was pronounced dead. At this time, the victim has not been positively identified.

Officers later located a second victim, also a Hispanic male in his 20’s, in the 500 block of Basswood Drive. This second victim was also suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to the IU Health Bloomington Hospital in critical condition. He was uncooperative with investigators.

Based on the preliminary investigation it appears that the victims along with several other Hispanic males were in the 2500 block of West 3rd Street where the fight originated. Investigators believe that the victims and the suspects knew each other.
