City Seeks Applicants for 2019 Environmental Resources Advisory Council

Bloomington, Ind. - The City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is seeking members for the Environmental Resources Advisory Council (ERAC).  The ERAC acts in an advisory capacity to the Board of Park Commissioners in policy matters pertaining to the operation of city-managed natural areas or facilities. ERAC members also coordinate with other civic groups and governmental agencies in the protection of environmental resources within the Bloomington area.   

Applications must be submitted to the City of Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department, 401 N. Morton St., Suite 250 by 5 p.m. January 8, 2019.

The ERAC is comprised of five regular voting members and four special voting members.  Council members serve a two-year term. ERAC meetings are held the second Wednesdays of even-numbered months at 4:30 p.m.

Appointments to the ERAC are made by the Board of Park Commissioners.
