Press Release: BPD Investigating Flyers

Bloomington, Ind. - Flyers announcing a “Neighborhood Watch” purportedly maintained by the Ku Klux Klan and picturing a hooded figure appeared at several locations around Bloomington early Monday morning.  The Bloomington Police Department (BPD) is currently investigating the source of the printed material.  

“Hate has no place in Bloomington, and public safety is a top concern,” said Mayor John Hamilton.  “Residents who find additional, similar material or have any information about it should contact our police department.”
