City Closed in Observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day

Bloomington, Ind. - Although City of Bloomington offices will be closed in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Birthday celebrations, many City-sponsored events will be taking place as part of the MLK Day Season of Service Events and Opportunities. For more information and to register for opportunities, go to the City of Bloomington Volunteer Network website at BloomingtonVolunteerNetwork.org/mlk.

​Many City workers will be participating in volunteer efforts on MLK Day, but City of Bloomington Sanitation crews will be working their regular schedules on Monday, January 16th, so residents should have their items for collection at the curb by 5:00 a.m.
