In conjunction with CATS-TV, the City of Bloomington Animal Care and Control Department produces a weekly television show, "Pets Without Partners." This program provides area residents with medical, training, and behavior tips and advice to facilitate the development of well-mannered and healthy companion animals. Also included are fun facts and stories about companion animals and the significant role they play in our lives. Services provided by the Shelter and the companion animals available for adoption are featured weekly.

"Pets Without Partners" has been a weekly program on CATS since 1985, making it the longest-running animal shelter program in the country. The program, hosted by Emily Herr, is a joint production of the Bloomington Animal Shelter and Community Access Television Services and can be viewed on CATS-TV Channel 3 daily at 7:00 p.m. and on Saturdays and Sundays at 4:00 p.m.

"Pets without Partners" is also now available to the community via podcast for playback on portable media players and personal computers. Podcasts by Community Access Television Services (CATS) will feature all of the animals locally available for adoption. Go to the CATS website and click on the podcast link.
