Bloomington
, IN - The City of Bloomington Community and Family Resources Department (CFRD) has just released a bilingual Community and Family Resources Directory updated for 2009. The English/Spanish version of the publication is an important tool in communicating the many resources, programs and services available to community members throughout the City and the County.

"Bloomington is fortunate to have so many services and agencies in the community that provide support to families and individuals," said Pete Giordano, Director of CFRD. "With so many families struggling right now with the current economic situation, we want to make people aware of the many places they can turn to find assistance."

In addition to serving as a guide to local resources, the directory also contains information about child care, recreation, services for people with disabilities, senior services, career counseling, financial assistance and many other local services.

The directory is available online at www.bloomington.in.gov/cfrd or at the City's CFRD office in City Hall, 401 N. Morton Street, Suite 260.
