Dimension Mill to Hold Inaugural Annual Event on Angel Investing and the New Economy

Bloomington, Ind. - On Thursday, November 30, Dimension Mill Inc., the newly-formed nonprofit overseeing the activation of Dimension Mill, will host a free public event for the community to engage with technology and innovation professionals about bringing angel investment to Bloomington. Angel investments are typically the earliest equity investments made in startup companies, and procuring angel investment is often a make-or-break moment for fledgling companies.

In addition to a public forum to learn more about angel investing and startup valuation, the inaugural Dimension Mill Annual will feature seven of Bloomington’s best technology- and innovation-driven startups in an exhibit hall as well as at a networking reception after the event. The exhibit hall, called Startup Alley, will feature tables from various startups, from software to IoT to medical devices to life sciences, and participants will be able to speak directly with their CEOs.

The event takes place at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater, 114 E. Kirkwood Avenue, from 12:30-6:30 p.m on November 30.

Slated to open in the Fall of 2018, the Dimension Mill will be a state-of-the-art 19,000 ft² coworking and business incubator space in downtown Bloomington. The Dimension Mill will be a bustling hub of innovation in the heart of the Trades District, designed to launch and accelerate companies, create high-paying jobs, and foster an inclusive, innovative entrepreneurial community.
