Switchyard Park

Register by Nov. 10 at 5 p.m.

Run, ruck, roll, or walk your way through Switchyard Park in honor of our nation's veterans. 

Registration and packet pick-up located at the outdoor Bosque, near the Pavilion, at Switchyard Park. The course follows the B-Line Trail and side trails around Switchyard Park. 

Online registration ends Nov. 10 at 5 p.m. Day-of registration accepted starting at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023.

Day of Event Schedule: 

  • 8:00 a.m. - In-person registration and packet pick-up
  • 8:35 a.m. - Wounded Warrior Project Speaker - Jennifer Jenkins
  • 8:50 a.m. - Presentation of Colors - Scouts BSA Troop 1148
  • 9:00 a.m. - 5k start
  • 9:15 a.m. - 1-mile start

Route for 5k
Route for 5k will start on the B-Line trail, near the Community Foundation Spray Pad. Runners will head south on the B-Line, towards Country Club Drive. Route will circle back north, looping around the dog parks and performance stage lawn, before heading north towards Grimes St. The 5k route ends with a turn at Grimes St. to return back to the start/finish line.
Route for 1 mile walk
Route for 1 mile walk starts on the B-Line trail near the Community Foundation Spray Pad. The route will travel south for 1/2 mile, turning around and finishing at the Start/Finish line.
