About Willie Streeter Community Garden
In Winslow Woods Park on South Highland Avenue, Willie Streeter Community Garden is a place for members of the public to try their hands at gardening in rented plots. The garden includes in-ground plots (available in two sizes) as well as raised beds for rent. Garden tools, other amenities, and educational opportunities are available to gardeners as well.

Garden Plot Rental for 2026
Returning gardeners in good standing can register for the same plot they used in 2025 from Feb. 10-21, 2026. Registration for gardeners wishing to switch plots, and all new gardeners, begins March 5, 2026 at 10 a.m.
Registration takes place online and is first-come, first-served.
Hours of Operation
Dawn to dusk, April through October.
Winslow Woods Park is open from 5 a.m.-11 p.m. daily year round.

The Community Gardening program benefits from generous donations from corporations, businesses, groups and individuals in the form of seeds, plants, tools, soil amendments and other supplies, which allow us to keep our gardening opportunities affordable to all.
