Safety, Civility and Justice Task Force to Report Thursday

The Safety, Civility and Justice Task Force formed to examine, evaluate, research and make recommendations toward a safe, civil and just downtown will present their final report with recommendations to Mayor John Hamilton this Thursday, June 15th at 11:00 a.m. at City Hall, 401 N Morton Street, in Council Chambers.  The public is invited and welcome to attend.

The Task Force was formed in February following a Community Justice and Mediation (CJAM) process that began the examination of issues related to downtown safety, civility and justice. The Task Force was specifically charged with providing recommendations to the Mayor for steps to improve safety, civility and justice in downtown Bloomington based on the CJAM results, other best practices and relevant research and additional public input.
