Building Supervisor - Banneker Community Center

Position Description

Provides on-site facility supervision at the Banneker Community Center during programs, events, or rentals. Responsible for maintaining safety standards inside and outside the facility. Interact with program participants, youth, parents, and community members. Responsible for minor janitorial duties and answering phones, other duties as needed.

Education

College education in the recreation field with emphasis on youth and teens or equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities.

Training/Special Skills

Ability to interact effectively with the public. Must be mature and have good judgment. Ability to work independently, supervise employees, and take direction.

Experience

Demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate and work well with others.

License/Certification

Valid Indiana drivers license, CPR and First Aid or ability to obtain.

Hours

Morning, afternoon, evening shifts, and weekends are all available.

Salary

$16.42+/hour.
