Looking for an outdoor job this season? The City of Bloomington, Indiana Parks and Recreation Department hires hundreds of temporary, seasonal employees each year. Job opportunities vary from outdoor maintenance and landscaping to summer day camps and lifeguards. The Department hires attendants for its outdoor pools, Griffy Lake boathouse, ballfield maintenance and concession stand workers, and more. How to Apply

Anyone wishing to apply for a job must submit an application (see the links below for job applications for operations, and for recreation/sports jobs) to Bloomington Parks and Recreation, 401 N. Morton St. in Bloomington, Indiana. Applications may be requested from, or dropped off at, the reception desk in the atrium inside City Hall during business hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m. M-F), by mail (PO Box 848, Bloomington, IN 47402), by fax to (812) 349-3705 or by email to parks@bloomington.in.gov. If submitting an application via email, please include the title of the position and the applicant's name in the subject line.
