Revel in the sights and sounds of the season with a stroll through Switchyard Park, and marvel at the thousands of lights that bring the park to life!
Enjoy food trucks, music, and holiday lights for the evening. While the event itself is one evening, the lights remain on throughout December!
New this year! An opportunity to support friends and neighbors via the Hoosier Hills Food Bank. There will be a collection barrel at Winter Lights, December Nights for non-perishable food donations.
Saturday Schedule of Events - participation in all events is free.
- 4 p.m. Hot beverages available for purchase from Hopscotch Coffee and Cup & Kettle
- 4 p.m. Candy Cane Hunt for ages 8 yrs. and younger
- 4:20 p.m. Dog treat hunt for dogs. All leashed, well-behaved dogs are welcome.
- 4:40 p.m. Candy Cane Hunt for ages 8 yrs. and under. Participants in the 4 p.m. Candy Cane Hunt may not participate in this round!
- 5-8 p.m. Live musical entertainment
- 5:30 p.m. Bloomington Chamber Singers
- 5:30 p.m. Ugly Holiday Sweater Fun Run/Walk
- Prizes for first finisher, ugliest sweater, and ugliest group!
- Route is .9 mile on paved trail around Switchyard Park
All evening: photo ops (bring your own camera), food trucks, and holiday lights
