Bloomington Parks and Recreation holds a variety of American Red Cross classes, including First Aid, CPR/AED and Lifeguard Training

Important information regarding the American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer course:

This course is taught in a blended learning format, meaning a combination of about four hours of online work and eight hours of class work time.

This courses online content MUST be completed prior to the first day of class; class participation without completion of the online coursework is not permitted.

Course participants must register and pay for BOTH the American Red Cross online portions (both CPR and First Aid) AND the in-person class at the Twin Lakes Recreation Center; see the gray box below to register for the in-person class.

Everyone taking the course will pay an additional fee directly to the American Red Cross to access the online training materials.
