About

Learn how to restore pollinator habitat with the Bloomington Parks and Recreation Urban Greenspace team and biologists from the US Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Partners for Fish and Wildlife (PFW) Program. Topics to be covered include site selection and design, site preparation, plant selection, planting methods and maintenance, pollinator ID, and plant ID. The goal of this workshop series is to provide participants with the tools and knowledge to transform small areas of unused land (e.g. home, school, and church yards) into native pollinator habitat. Participants must commit to both workshop dates.
