The Civic Webcast service provides live and on-demand access to meetings of the Bloomington City Council, Boards and Commissions, as well as other local government meetings through the World Wide Web. The online video streams are created from the video cablecasts of meetings captured by CATS (Community Access Television Services). Those cablecasts are then digitized and streamed online and are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. With Internet access and the free RealPlayer* digital media player, citizens can view live and archived video of local government meetings.
