TO AMEND TITLE 15 OF THE BLOOMINGTON MUNICIPAL CODE ENTITLED “VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC” - Re: Amending Provisions Regarding Stop Signs, Speed Limits, Various Parking Restrictions, and Pedestrian Crossings

The rates for nonreserved spaces in the two newest garages (Lot 2 - Walnut Center Garage - at 7 th and Walnut and Lot 7 - Regester Parking Garage – at 7 th and Morton) would increase from $400 per year to $550 for a 12/5 lease and to $675 for a 24/7 lease. The rates for nonreserved spaces in the City’s oldest garage (Lot 9 - 4 th and Walnut) would increase from $400 to $550 for the 12/5 lease and to $625 for the 24/7 lease. The rates for the reserved spaces in all three garages would double, increasing from $550 to $1,100 for a 12/5 lease and from $675 to $1,350 for a 24/7 lease. Lastly, the effective date of this provision would be October 1, 2007, which coincides with the expiration of existing permits.
