Ordinance 20-25

This ordinance amends Ordinance 19-20, which fixed the salaries of officers for the Police and Fire departments for the year 2020. The amendment assigns pay grades and replaces maximum salaries with minimum and maximum salaries. Note: This ordinance was revised after distribution in the Legislative Packet but before introduction at the Special Session on September 30, 2020. The revisions included correcting a reference to applicable state law and making corresponding changes in the first and third whereas clauses. Note: On October 14, 2020, the Council adopted Amendment OJ to Ord 20-25, which revised the job grade and associated salary range for Supervisory Sergeant (from Grade 7 to Grade 8).
