Resolution 06-06

This resolution brings forward the recommendations of the Jack Hopkins Social Services Funding Program Committee. The principal task of the Committee is to recommend funding for local social services agencies which offer proposals consistent with program criteria. Over the past 13 years (1993-2005), the City has expended in excess of $1 million dollars to local social services programs and, in 2006, decided to increase the annual amount of funds from $125,000 to $135,000. The resolution allocates the social services funds to 23 agency programs, approves the funding agreements with these agencies, accepts the report of the Committee, and authorizes the chair of the Committee to resolve any questions regarding the interpretation of the agreements.
